For Spring break we decided to head over to the Tampa area. My husband’s parent’s live there as snow birds, so it’s so nice to be able to visit them and also get a little sunshine, and escape from the harsh, cold VA temps.
Little did we know it would also be chilly in FL that week as well.. low 60′s but we weren’t complaining.. when we heard it snowed in VA!
We had a great time, we visited Tampa, St. Pete’s, Anna Maria Island and Clearwater beach. It was nice the last couple of days and we were able to soak up the sunshine.
One of our last nights, we headed over to Pine Island.. they have amazing sunsets! It’s so peaceful to run around with the seagulls, my husband and I had fun taking silly pictures of us chasing them, jumping, and making hearts with the sunset in the background.
Someday I would love to move to FL.I’m still trying to talk my husband into it!
I just love the feeling of perfect, sunny days with the sand in between my toes. I’m not much of a cold weather kind of girl! I grew up in California after all! Although I have to admit, even when other places sound so wonderful it was kind of nice to be home around the familiar. Maybe I’m just too much of a dreamer.
