“One belongs to New York instantly, one belongs to it as much in five minutes as in five years”.Tom Wolfe
I LOVE NYC in December!
Not sure what it is about the city that is just so magical. All the lights, people, beautiful decorated windows. Watching people ice skate and take horse and carriage rides in Central Park. Not to mention it was 60 degrees the first day we were there! I’m not much of a cold weather person!
It was so nice to spend some time with my in laws at the Roosevelt Hotel.. and have a couple dinners together. They spoil us!
We shopped, we ate, we walked and walked, I complained. (How many more blocks, I always forget to wear comfortable shoes?;-) I don’t know how people live in the city though. I like my car! π Checked out the Holiday markets.
Watched the Today show being filmed. I had never done it so I needed to cross it off the list. We should have been there earlier, but we did see Hoda and Kathy Lee filming a segment. One of the producers photo bombed our picture. π
Ate Macaroons. Have you had one? I am obsessed.
There was so much I wanted to see and do and eat. Eating in NYC is a def fav! There is just never enough time.
Just enjoyed getting away. I love travel. If I could just travel and take pictures I would be happy for the rest of my life. π

We spent half a day at Chelsea Market and Greenwich Village. I had never been over to that part of the city. Love the cobblestone streets and all the different food at Chelsea market is amazing! I recommend the taco place, gelato, and Doughnettry for the mini donuts!
“I look out the window and I see the lights and the skyline and the people on the street rushing around looking for action, love, and the worldβs greatest chocolate chip cookie, and my heart does a little dance.”Β -Nora Ephron
Spent a rainy morning walking around Central Park with my love.. having breakfast at the Plaza.. and a few cute shots in the park…
Of course we spent a couple nights checking out all the lights and even caught a show, the Rockette’s Christmas Spectacular was amazing!
NYC I will definately be back again and again. π
I missed this post earlier! I love the photos!! Looks like so much fun. That shot of the trees in Central Park and the one with the Christmas decor and the tall building fading into the fog = complete awesomeness! <3
Such amazing shots!!! SO many framers there π
