My husband and I had a whole weekend to ourselves this weekend! It was amazing. Of course I love family time, but it’s also nice to have some time together as well! We went Christmas shopping, enjoyed some mulled wine at La Grange Winery and even did a quick little photoshoot of the two of us. I’ve always wanted a shoot of ourselves in the snow!! I am usually always the one behind the camera, so it’s fun once in awhile to do our own shoot! I highly recommend it! 🙂 I’ve also been so bad about taking photos of my kids since becoming a photographer, so in the New Year I want to be better about that as well!

We also spent Saturday at the National Harbor. It’s kind of been a tradition going to see the Tree and all the light since last year. I love this time of the year!

Sunday, Andy assisted me in a shoot I am super excited about! I don’t think I can share yet.. but it combines my love of shooting details and home makeovers and will be published in a online blog soon! This last year I told myself I needed to seize opportunities when I saw them, to not let fear hold me back and it has worked! Can’t wait to share! I also love that my husband has become pretty great behind the lens as well, and he has some great ideas that I don’t  always think about! He’s been such a blessing to me! I know he was tired of me dragging him around all weekend! 🙂
