I met Melanie through her mom, Kim at my small group. Kim, and her husband Dave host our bible group and it has been a great thing for my husband and I to grow in our spiritual walk .I needed to push myself out of my comfort zone and I’ve been feeling God calling me to do more, and this is just one step. 🙂 Kim & Dave are such a sweet couple and when I told her I was a photographer, she  mentioned she needed updated portraits of Melanie. I was excited! I love Fall, and we talked about waiting for the leaves to change. What a beautiful day it was and I even found a mini cotton field. I mean it was almost dead, but whatever! 😉

Melanie was such a natural beauty.. and so easy to photograph!

I love this location.. it’s one of the trails in my neighborhood. Beautiful streams and the trees of different shades of Fall color. I can’t believe I haven’t used this location sooner. It might be a new favorite!
