Sometimes, last minute getaways are the best. I wasn’t planning on joining my family in Florida with just taking a vacation in August and moving into a new house, but family is important and I’m so glad I booked this trip last minute, so many fun memories in just a few days were made! I even got to visit with my old friend Robyn and catch up. She was sweet enough to pick me up at the airport and drive me down, but not before lunch on the beach and a wonderful massage, it doesn’t hurt to be friends with a massage therapist!
Ever since my sister introduced us to one of her favorite spots in Florida, I’ve been obsessed with the quaint little town of Seaside, and Watercolor, FL. The homes are just so beautiful. I could walk through the little town all day and just admire all the shops, sample everything from the food trucks and get lost along 30A. I wanted to spend a little more time in Rosemany and Aly’s Beach, we did stop through for a drink in the evening and it was gorgeous! I will have to put it on the list for next time…
It was so wonderful being able to spend a few days with my family in Santa Rosa beach at a cabin in Grayton Beach State Park. Especially spending some time with my adorable niece, and nephew who just turned one!.. I was able to do some quick family pictures for them. So happy to give them these memories…
The water was so pretty and blue. We pretty much had in to ourselves being off season. We plan to go back and next time rent one of these cute seaside homes!
What wonderful memories, If you haven’t been to this part of Florida, you really need to visit! I can’t wait to go back!
Beautiful photos, scenery, and family! <3
