Rachel and Sutton have such a cute story of how they met during their college days at VA Tech. Originally they both met each other double dating- except not with each other, they were dating each other friends! 🙂 Luckily for them it didn’t work out with their friends and they realized how perfect they were for each other! College dating turned into a long distance relationship for a few years out of college. They say long distance makes the heart grow fonder which was definantly true for these two, and also a true testament to their relationship. They are super sweet together. I loved learning more about them during our initial coffee meet up at the Mosaic District. We share a love for travel and adventure and they gave me lots of great advice for my future bucket list!

Since they live in D.C, they had such a fun idea for their session to meet up at the heart mural at Union Station in D.C, perfect for a Valentine Engagement! Then on to the National Gallery of Art. I loved that I got to shoot out of my typical Northern VA area.

Can’t wait for these two’s August Highholdborne Wedding! I know these two will have a long marriage filled with love and adventure!
