When I think of where to vacation I am always drawn to crystal blue water, so Turks and Caicos has always been one of my must see places to travel and it was gorgeous!
As soon as we pulled up to the Beach House, it was just as I imagined. So lush and calming with a fun beach vibe and on the beautiful stretch of Grace Bay Beach. I loved our stay here! It’s a small 21 room boutique hotel, so unlike the big chains, they cater to you with your own private cabanas and little treats in your room every night and fresh flowers! When I travel I would rather not go to an all inclusive- although they are nice as times, I love to try all the local cuisine and get out and explore like a local. The food was also amazing in the Turks! We loved the fresh Conch and the different ways they prepared it. The first night we headed over to Da Conch Shack.. we loved the local vibe and fresh food and watching them make fresh Conch ceviche. Some other amazing restaurants we loved, the tacos at CocoVan, Mango Reef ( Great Bay view), Somewhere Cafe on the beach for lunch, and Bugaloo’s for a fun Island vibe and of course the food at our hotel was amazing! We loved the breakfast buffet every morning and lunch at the Beach Shack. We also loved how they had something special each night like a cooking class or movie night. It was also my husband’s birthday while we were there and they even arranged for him to have his own private cabana and champagne! I loved the service and everyone on the Island is SO friendly!
We mostly just relaxed at our beach, Lexi and I loved lounging on the floats in the water, although one day a shark was spotted swimming right next to us, yikes! The boy loved all the complimentary water sports like paddleboarding and the trampoline.
We also took a boat cruise to Iguana Island ( The Rum punch was flowing). It was fun snorkling and seeing all the iguanas on the Island. We also drove around the Island, it’s only about 20 minutes to drive the whole island and we explored the little shops and different hotels. A few other favorites of mine worth stopping for a drink, Grace Bay Club- Loved the Infinity Bar here and gorgeous decor! The Gansevoort next door to us and the Shore Club were some of my top picks!
If you haven’t been here yet, GO. It’s only a 90 minute flight from Miami so 3 hours or so total, I can’t wait to go back! A little tip though- this Island is expensive! Be prepared to spend double on food, gas, taxi’s. We packed lots of snacks and rented a car and it was so worth it to see the Island- but they drive on the left side of the road here. So be prepared to be a tad freaked out! Ha!
We did some family photos at our hotel one night, had to take advantage of the beautiful scenery! If only I had somewhere with me to capture family shots, but at least I got some! 🙂A quick drop in to see this gorgeous hotel, the Shore Club. I may just have to come back for a romantic getaway for Andy I and stay here. It’s one sexy hotel… 🙂
The Beautiful Grace Bay Club to celebrate Andy’s birthday with dessert and drinks. Free shots on them for the birthday boy!
So beautiful!!! Amazing photos of all the scenery and of you and your family!! ❤️
