I remember when I first met up with Rachel & Sutton at a coffee shop in the Mosaic District to hear about their wedding. I instantly loved how warm and friendly they were, how they chatted about their love for travel and adventure, they even gave me some advice on the best places to travel to! I just knew right away I loved these two and that they were going to have an amazing future together!

Rachel met Sutton at VA tech.. she says they started out as friends, and he didn’t quite get the hints that she was dropping that she was interested in him. They started dating through college and then it turned into a long distance relationship. I can tell they had an amazing college experience together as their Hokie spirit was Strong! Some of my favorite moments were the photos we did of all their crazy college friends!

They had the most beautiful day filled with sunshine and all their closest family and friends. I loved how calm and collect they were though out the day, even a thunderstorm that stopped the band from playing couldn’t damper their spirits. They danced the night away and ended it with pizza being delivered from Rachel’s favorite, Papa John’s. I love that Rachel ran over and was the first to dig into the pizza! Haha!
