Sarah and Justin had an amazing wedding this past weekend at the beautiful Barn At Edgewood in Charlottesville. As I pulled up to the venue I caught a glimpse of Sarah on the deck looking gorgeous! She was so excited she was already dressed and ready to get married. The rain stopped just in time too!

Typically I meet my couples before the big day for coffee or an engagement session, but I didn’t get to meet this sweet couple till the day of their wedding, due to distance. They live in Portland, Oregon! I’m jealous! The Pacific Northwest is on my must see places, I hear it’s beautiful! Sarah and Justin both grew up in Northern VA, and met at a bar ( Trummer’s) in Clifton where Justin, who is a musician was playing that night. They hit it off and quickly fell for each other! I love their edgy style, they are a perfect fit! They also share a love for travel, adventure and new experiences together…

Even though I knew little about them, there were no worries! These two were as sweet as could be! Rachel was so ready to see Justin as I arrived and had butterflies in her stomach. She did a quick first look with her father and then the ceremony was ready to start!

Hunter & Company did SUCH an amazing job decorating the gorgeous wedding venue! I was in love with the farmhouse table and chairs with the rustic greenery with pops of whites and succulents for each guest. The room had such a romantic feel with all the candles. How can you go wrong with a backdrop as beautiful as Charlottesville too? The owners have owned this farm for years and just recently opened it up as a wedding venue. So lovely!

Sarah and Justin had quality time with guests and danced the night away with family and friends.. and my favorite part of the wedding was when Justin, who is a musician in Portland, sang to Sarah! So sweet.. this is my second groom this year who is a musician and sang to his bride! I’m loving getting to be a part of such a special time in my couple’s loves, even for a quick glimpse! Wishing you two and amazing honeymoon on Topsail Island and an amazing future together! XO.
