Ashley & Matt were married April 21, 2018 in a beautiful ceremony at their church, Saint James’ Episcopal Church in downtown Warrenton. It was such a gorgeous day for their wedding, the sun was shining as her mom, sister and sister in law helped her get ready. We began the day at Poplar Springs where they were staying for their wedding night, and took advantage of the beautiful bridal room and grounds for Ashley’s bridal portraits.

I loved that when I first met Ashley & Matt at their home, they discussed how they wanted a fun wedding with the people they loved in a relaxing atmosphere.. that was what mattered most to them, not the long to do list of all the typical wedding details and formalities. I love when my couple’s can make their day their own. Matt is also a dad to an adorable little boy Lance and Ashley has the joy of being his mom, loved seeing the three of them joining together to become a family. Proof that there is always second chances at love and happy endings.. one of my favorite moments at their ceremony is when the priest asked if anyone had any objections or to hold their peace and Lance yelled me! So cute.

Matt owns Forge brewery and the reception at Molon Lave Vineyard was not only filled with wine, but great beer flowing as well! They had an amazing outdoor bbque recepetion with yummy Mission Bbque and make your own smores for the guests instead of cake. After their first dance, speeches and cake cutting, they really were able to enjoy their reception and guests for the rest of the afternoon and evening. A perfect ending to a beautiful day.
