Courtney and Justin were married this past weekend April 6th, 2019 at the beautiful Rock Hill Farm in Culpeper, VA. As soon as I walked into the bridal suite, I was in love.. pretty bright and white, filled with a gorgeous four poster bed and pretty details. Courtney was calm and collected and excited for her big day!
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Spring day, sunny with highs in the 70’s for their outdoor wedding. I loved the rustic touches from the barn reception to the old vintage car. The wide open rolling fields and mountains were a perfect backdrop for their portraits. I love how my couples pick a venue that is unique to their personalities. They had so many fun touches at the reception from the margarita bar, to the cookie bar, to the great bbque dinner, yum! The farm animals were so cute as well, and I heard there was even a peacock on the farm, although we never saw it… How fun would that have been to incorporate into their portraits? 🙂
Some of my favorite moments of their day were Courtney’s first look with her dad.. they both were so emotional as he was giving away his only daughter.. it was such a special moment to capture. So many special moments with her mom as well. Also, Justin’s mom was with him in spirit and he wore her picture on his lapel as a gift from Courtney. Before she passed away she said she really hoped Courtney was ” the one”. She got her wish and I know she would be so proud of them both.
Congrats Courtney and Justin! I wish you a wonderful life together and fun on your honeymoon to Punta Cana! XO….
