Hannah & Dan had the most beautiful Winter Wedding, February 16, 2019. The forecast called for snow earlier in the week, but their day was sunny and clear and filled with the most beautiful light during portrait hour. Their wedding day was on my birthday and it was such an honor to serve such a sweet couple! I loved seeing their love story unfold. The day started with the girls getting ready at the cabin near their venue then we headed over to the church for their Catholic ceremony which is where her parents got married as well, so special! Hannah shared a quick moment standing in the same spot where her mom and and Dad were married as her mom put on her veil. She then shared a first look with her dad, so sweet seeing her dad so emotional! Then it was time to meet Dan at the altar.
These two are both military. Dan a Marine, and Hannah Navy, so they have been separated at different duty stations for long periods during their dating and engagement, however they found time in between to meet wherever they could, and enjoy a love of travel and quality moments together whenever they could find them. You can tell family and the love of serving their country is so important to them, as they come from a family who served. They are so perfect together. Some of my favorite moments of their day were the speeches from family. Hannah teared up as her brother, who is also military and could not attend the wedding sent her a video message sending her his love. I also loved the rocks her sister gave her representing memories from her childhood to her wedding day. So many friends and family came out to celebrate their day! I loved the life size poster of her brother that family danced with to feel like he was part of their day.
Congratulations Hannah and Dan! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness! You finally get to be together after so many years apart, yay! I hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon. XO…
