I photographed Simran when she was just a newborn and was thrilled when her mom called me again to photograph her first birthday shoot.

We planned a Pinterest board of shots we loved, and her mom came up with this amazing cake from Occasionally cakes. Isn’t it beautiful? I love doing first birthday shoots and coming up with ideas with mom for a fun session.

We headed out to Crystal City Waterpark, it was bustling with photographers that day, but we worked around them, it was  beautiful location. Simran was happy and active and inquisitive. Such a beautiful little girl with a full head of hair.
